Senior Manager, Human Resources at Panasonic in Peachtree City

Human Resources Business Partnership

Work collaboratively with assigned clients to improve business results and meet business objectives. Assist clients to design organization structure, business processes, systems that support strategic business goals. Consult with management to resolve organizational issues and develop organization structure that supports business operations requirements in balance with achieving efficient, flat reporting structure.

Work directly with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues in the assigned client groups. Guide problem resolution process to develop outcomes that resolve matters in a timely manner. Conduct internal investigations as needed. Lead managers on corrective actions including termination process assuring that policies and procedures are correctly followed.

Coach managers on skills including: communication, performance appraisals, accountability. Train managers and staff on human resources matters.

Collaborate with PASA human resource management personnel to:

  1. Interpret and develop human resources policies and procedures for consistency, compliance and efficiency
  2. Review wage actions, new hire rates, performance appraisal and merit, promotions and adjustment increases, participate in salary planning
  3. Coordinate management training on key interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety and other compliance requirements
  4. Administer performance review and salary administration program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization

Represent both the employee needs and implement management agendas by partnering with employees and management to ensure that concerns and needs of employees are voiced to management.

Interview candidates and coach managers through selection process. Directly or through subordinates, plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster introduction to company.

Coordinate with PASA compensation and benefits department members to administer related programs. Write and edit job descriptions for client group.

Ensure the timely preparation of employee separation notices and related documentation, conduct exit interviews to determined reason behind voluntary separations.

Support at local site company-wide initiatives such as EEOC, AAP, FMLA, ISO, ISM and other company required programs. Assures compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Talent Acquisition

Lead the talent acquisition team in the development of the Company?s sourcing strategy, tools and processes to identify and acquire talent to meet the current and future business needs within the Company.

Advise and consult with key leaders to ensure that the company?s business issues are linked with talent management objectives and plans.

Develop functional recruiting strategies that builds on social media platforms and focus schools, that are innovative and support our employer value proposition.

Develop global recruitment and communication teams to focus on improving Employer Branding.

Develop and manage sourcing strategy and techniques, including a diversity strategy.

Develop campus recruitment strategies.

Utilize Taleo to manage the job requisition process, job postings both internal and external, and applicant flow for AAP.

Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure success of talent acquisition initiatives.

Lead the continuing development of technology solutions for talent management.

Ensure that we are using an assessment and selection approach which is effective and legally compliant.

Identify vendor partners to be used to meet the staffing needs of the business.

Implement and manage the companies Vendor Management System (VMS).

Implement and manage international assignments and expatriate programs.

Employee Communications

Create organization-wide communications plans regarding human resources and other strategic company initiatives that educate and inform the workforce.

Lead communication efforts that build excitement, enthusiasm and a sense of camaraderie and shared vision among the workforce.

Recommend, develop and publish internal publications that convey timely information and are consistent with company strategies.

Create and monitor benchmark data and criteria that measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives.

General PASA Management Responsibilities

Responsible for ISM management as part of the management of staff members, their work and workplace. Responsible for the management of information security as part of the normal management of the business.

Interprets, enforces and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Other Duties

Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information. Performs other related duties as assigned

Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.

Seven (7) years experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

Four (4) years successful human resources experience at a manager level required.

Must have experience with developing and/or managing corporate expatriate programs.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing Talent Acquisition Strategies to include the use of Social Media.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AAP programs and OFFCP compliance regulations.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Human Resources field including employment laws, compliance procedures and best practices.

PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment.
